Problem Note 59390: LDAP authentication (sasauth) fails with "Bad search filter" error when querying group membership

In SAS® 9.4 TS1M1, parentheses were added around the memberUid value in the group filter when performing an LDAP authentication. This change resulted in a "Bad search filter" error when querying group membership.
Here is an example from a sasauth-debug log:
LDAP: Using group base 'o=groups'
LDAP: Group entryDn: o=groups
LDAP: Group filter: (memberUid=(jdoe))
LDAP: Groups query failed.
Bad search filter
Could not get groups for user 'jdoe'.
Request failed: 'Could not get group memberships for user.'
